Another Rainy Year

Mumbai has been experiencing rains for the past few days. Replica of 2005 when the city was tormented by heavy rains, 2006 continues to be another flooded year. Though the effect has not been as worse as seen last year, the city's life has been affected by the rains. Schools and colleges remain closed while the metro services continued their unpredicted service as the trains kept halting and moving. My brother-in-law who is in Mumbai said that the rains experienced last year were like never seen before and this year has been better. Hope the city resumes normal routine and is stopped being lashed by rains.

ram, guess this snap is worse than that in the movie. Last year was worse for Mumbai. Though its bad this year too, its better compared to 2005. spking abt the drainage system, guess its high time our govt luks into it.

truly yours, last yr Madras was rocked by the rains. People who even prayed for the rains to come, wanted it to stop. So bad was it. But it was because of that did the water problem stop in Madras.
